JARING KAWAN consists of individuals and/or institutions interested and/or active in the psychosocial and mental health issues in disaster management, and are willing to be active in the network.

Up to May 2009, JARING KAWAN has 91 members consisting of 42 individuals and 49 institutions, both public and private institutions at the local, national, and international levels. The members reside in 13 provinces and 17 cities in Indonesia, such as Banda Aceh, Medan, Bengkulu, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Manado, Palu, Ambon, and Jayapura. The back ground of the members varies including psychologists, psychiatrists, family physicians, occupational therapist, general nurses, psychiatric nurses, social workers, lecturers, researchers, trainers, consultants, volunteers, and so on.
